Medical exam request for child

Hi, I received the medical request letter which requested me and my son to take the medical exam. My son was born outside Canada but he has Canada passport already. When I submitted my PR application, i submitted my son Canada passport and didn't include him in the PR application.
Wonder why he still needs to take medical exam?

He doesn't need to, it's a mistake. You'll have to communicate with them that he is a citizen already.

The likely cause of this error is if you included him on the IMM0008 form as a dependent (and hence as an applicant for PR status) - he should not have been, the instructions say do not include those who are already citizens or PRs. If my guess is right, you should amend and re0submit this form as well.

oh.....so how can I contact the IRCC for amending the form? I cannot view/amend anything in the online portal after I submitted the application.

Don't know, didn't do the online app myself - and it's new so might be no-one knows yet. (You did read that it's a PILOT, right?)

Were you at least able to keep a copy of what you submitted so you can check?

anyway, all I can suggest is fill in the paper version to amend, sign, scan and submit that.
