Medical Exam Form with AOR

Hi everyone,

I sent my application to CIO and received AOR on 6 Nov 2013 through email, I received another email as well on same date with Medical Form. Does it means I have to go for medical exam ? I am confused , My visa office is Islamabad ... I haven't heard anything from them till now. As I know medical requests are done from Visa office not from CIO. Please advise in this regard

Hi,
IME (Immigration Medical Examination) requests are typically sent from the VO processing your application. If you have received the AOR from CIO, but have not received yet any other AOR from the VO (Islamabad), you may want to wait a bit. An AOR from CIO signifies that your application is deemed complete and will be forwarded to a VO for futher processing. An AOR from the VO signifies that the file has been transferred and will be processed in that VO and all correspondence henceforth will be sent between you and to the VO. If you have not received any correpondence yet from your expected VO, then wait a bit.

The medical form you were sent signifies you need a Medical examination, but other instructions may be forthcoming in succeeding correspondence.

Further yet - you may want to send an email to CIO and/or Islamabad VO to inquire/clarify and ask for other correspondence/instructions given you only have received the medical form and not other instructions.

I too received my med request the same day as my AOR with both coming from Sydney. So did several friends and it seems to be the trend right now.
You have 60 days to complete your medical from the date the request was sent to you.
Neither myself or anyone I know has had any correspondence from a VO.

You could wait a bit as long as you still have your meds done within 60 days but I don't see the need. Choose a DMP that is e medical enabled and you don't have to worry about the results being sent to the incorrect visa office or getting lost.

Thanks for your posts, I have already emailed CIO and VO ( Islamabad), but it's gone take time to reply. I have less days to go for the medical exam. I have got appointment with doctor tomarrow, will talk to him to see whay they say about this
