Hi Guys,

I was just told by a nearby hospital that the fees for medical exam are 400 dollar per adult. It seems very expensive to me. I was wondering whether the fees are the same in the US?

Thanks!

Yup! Same for me as well. Maybe you can later try to get the insurance pay for it if you have good one and not sure how that's possible but initially it has to come out of pocket.

Hi.
I paid a little more than a 1000 for 2 adults and one infant.
Believe me it's not expensive for US :)
Make sure you get a correct exam. When I was looking for a physician to do these they all try to offer you en exam for US immigration, that's not what you want.
Look for a physician close to you - here http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

No insurance will cover it.

In New York I paid 350, in NJ they asked 450, you can compare the rates and get it from any nearby place.
