Hi guys, i have a quick question, i received an ITA after the October 19th draw, i gathered all of my documents however i still have to do my medical exam. I read some other forums and some people get a letter or email to notify them they need to take it and to bring along to show the doctor during the visit. In the list of documents to bring during the visit it states letter from immigration - I received no such thing, do i have to wait to receive this letter from CIC before i take my medical or should i take it now? In my list of documents it is asking for my medical and i cannot send my application until i upload a document in that section. I appreciate any help you can give me for the ones who have already send their applications or know about this medical exam !

Have a good one !

My medical centre required the "letter of invitation" (which you should have).

You do not have to wait, you won't receive such letter. Get your medicals done whenever you get the chance.

Cheers ;)

Wow thank you so much DelPiero07 for your very fast answer! So that must be the letter they were referring to, i do have that !! Thank you again so much for your help, very much appreciated !!i will print that letter then and bring it to my appointment ! Thanks again and Have a good one !

My place asked for it, and when I showed them the ITA CIC had sent me, they told me that wasn't what they needed (Granted this place was...sketchy to say the least-- they've already told me I'll likely have to come back to re-do the urine test bc the doctor/nurse screwed up.). Now I'm wondering if it will delay my application or cause any problems.

Urine, Blood, Physical and X-Rays.

What tests do they run on urine and blood?

We're they one of the approved drs?

He is indeed. The only one in Cincinnati, actually. And the guy has had his medical license in the state of Ohio (and possibly Kentucky) restricted for inappropriate treatments and conduct. CIC still lists him as an approved doctor, but if he wasn't the only one nearby there is no way I would have gone to him.

Funny part is...he JUST updated his information with CIC like 3 weeks ago. (His license was restricted in August 2016.) So I think it's a case that CIC knows, they're just turning a blind eye.

For blood - HIV, syphilis, for urine - general test. They may request to make additional test for hepatitis if you have piercing or tattoo.

i did my medical when i previously received ITA, but due to some errors i made in my EE profile i have to decline my ITA to make changes in my EE profile.
After making changes , i again received my ITA in the latest Draw, so my question is can i use my same medical that i did for my previous invitation,
Or do i have to retake the medical.

Kindly advise.

No you don't have to, the exam is valid for 12 months
