Hello All,

I did my medical check on 17 August. I called the doctor and he said he does not allow to say the result and he sent the result after one week after one week.

So, if i have really health-related problem, should they say to me? If the doctor did not say to me, is that good thing?

Also, my file is transferred to NY, on 27 August. But i havent heard anything from them? What is the timeline between medical check and passport request?

Thank you

Your doctor wwill tell you if you have a health related problem. If he doesnt contact you it means that your medical is ok.
Some says that it take 8 weeks but others wait longer tham that.

Hello.. I am also an applicant under SINP. And I am just wondering is it really that slow in processing your application here in manila. I had finished my medical last aug. 17 2009.. And yet it is already 3 months going on 4th month and no words from the visa officers. I don't even know if my medical is ok because they don't have any notice or letter stating that your medical is good. I am just worried that after long months of waiting at the end they would deny or refuse me.. Is anyone knows or have an idea who could give me advise on what a to do. Thanks a lot..

If within two weeks after medical you havent heard from them it means that it is ok, so dont worry. Nest would be PPR. I think CIC Manila is a bit alower coz we had our medicals lat july 27 then recieved by Ottawa on August 12 then on October 17 we had our PPR and after 1 week we got back our passport with visa stamp and soon to land on Canada after christmas.
