McGill is an excellent university. TRU has a low reputation.
Does it gonna affect my visa chances as i have not applied yet and i also got admission from university of winnipeg in HRM but i m worried about my academics in graduation as i scored 60% in my bachelors of commerce ... Should i go with TRU or UoW ???

Hi
If your kids will attend pre-school or kindergarten, they won't need a CAQ nor study permit. If they will be attending primary or secondary school, they will definitely need CAQ and study permit. You can verify this information on IRCC and Immigration Quebec websites.

Thanks

You apply for CAQ prior to applying for study permit.

"To study in Quebec, you first need to have a letter of acceptance from the designated learning institution which you plan to attend in Quebec. In addition, you must have received or applied for a Certificat d’acceptation du Québec (CAQ) or certificate of acceptance which is issued by the province of Quebec. At that time, you can apply for a study permit from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)."

Hi
In my opinion, since you need an acceptance letter to apply for their CAQ, I think you should just apply for their TRV. When you get to Quebec, you can then apply for their CAQ and study permit. This means that they may miss a term due to the CAQ and study permit processing times. However, it is an offence not to enrol them in school. I am not an expert in this, therefore, I would suggest you contact Immigration Quebec to find out more.

So regarding this case....is it possible if my family stay in another province and study in school?
