Oath letter dated January 21st, 2015
Oath ceremony FEB 3rd
eCAS has not yet reflected my oath date.
now to reveal the blackbook
Previous to this timeline i had another time line and it went like this:
Applied MAY 2009
In process Jan 2010
Test on march 2010
RQ on march 2012
-> REJECTED "unfairly" on OCT 2013!(4.5 years waiting) => reason of rejection, CBSA 'missed' a stamp on may 2005 (despite showing travel history from foreign countries, my T4, my NOA 2005, and an ACCIDENT report backed with insurance claims, that i surely was in Canada MAY 2005 onwards. judge had a trouble to by pass the CBSA report, and rejected my application and asked me to re-apply "and assured me i will be RQ'ed once again"
I decided not to fight it, per lawyer advise, and re-apply again as it will not only be costly, but it will take a long time. lawyer suggested to reapply and i did.
I re-applied with my timeline above and it went smooth and no RQ because I NEVER LEFT THE COUNTRY and WORKED through out. i guess they finally saw that on the "new time period"
after 9 years and 10 months, I am finally Canadian!
If I got my citizenship you surely will. Good luck guys
