Did the exam this morning at Mississauga and passed, all went well, CIC officer was friendly and outgoing. I should receive the Oath invite in 4-6 weeks as per officer. The officer had no concerns and said that everything looked good

Yeah I second sq274, it seems like that was a blip haha. Good news is they added a whole whack of citizenship ceremony dates for Mississauga in December which were not there earlier, so I am assuming quite a few Oath invites will be going out.

Our journey for Canadian Citizenship ends today as we took Oath this morning .

The ceremony was 2.5 hours. It was very pleasant and made more meaningful by a judge who is also an immigrant.

While I will always love my country of birth .... I am very happy that Canada is now my home . I LOVE CANADA !!!

Does any one knows what happens to the file when it reaches local office?
How long does it takes to get a test invite after it gets to the local office?
My file is in the local office for more than a month but no updates.

In our case , after our received line dissapeared we got the test invite a month and a week after so you probably will get it soon.

We have pretty much the same timeline..lets hope we get the test invite soon

Actually I called CIC and they said my file was transferred to Scarborough in Oct and they finished background checks 2 weeks ago, not sure what the office is doing now. But you might also be in Scarborough vs St Clair, not sure how much better it is.

Could you please tell me which number you called? I would like to know if my file has been processed and if they know my visa office.
