The only interesting thing is my CBSA report - it has just entry dates (no exit information).
Nothing wrong with that. Simply because CBSA don't stamp passports when you're leaving Canada and that's why they need to see entry stamps to other countries when called to interview. An entry stamp to another country on your passport means you left Canada same day or 1 or 2 days earlier

As my spouse got the RQ, would I also be getting one?

Since we applied as a family together, I think all of us would be getting the RQ and the processing may be delayed for the whole family.

Has anyone else got for their family as well?.

Thanks
C Lad

I am not an immigration consultant, but my understanding of the process is the following:

for family applications, each person is treated separately, so if your wife got an RQ that does not mean you will too. You could get it or not, but you wont get it because your wife did. However, they will cross reference check to ensure the information provided matches other family applications.

As per my information it is not necessary that you will also receive an RQ as your wife did . However , as yours is a family application so the processing of other family members will be delayed unless you request to get your wife's application separated or her RQ is processed.Having said that, I have seen that CIC is processing RQs very fast especially for new applicants and sometimes they process it in 2-3 months or so .

All the best !

Hi Friends,

I see test dates coming for April 2014 applicants. But there seems to be not a great movement in May 2014 applicants files. Even after processing started in July for us, the files are still in Sydney and not transferred to Local offices.

May in the below spreadsheet

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aqi6FPDNYK_xdGplaHhxWFhVQkxFTjB5LUZ2anU2clE&usp=drive_web#gid=0

any one got test call yet?

Any more updates for May 2014 applicants?

I saw many update from June 2014's topic. some who applied at the end of June 2014 already got recieved line disappeared.

My friend who recieved document mid May 2014 and in process Mid July 2014 still has recieved line in ECas.

Why May 2014 applications process slower than June 2014?

Difference procedure?

Who told you May 2014 applications process slower than June 2014? Actually most of May applicants did not keep update post here.

any May 2014 applicants with local office as Kitchener, ON? My received line disappeared sometime last week I think, so hopefully will get test date in November/December.

Received line gone as of today.

Don't mean to burst peoples' bubble but I believe a good chunk of May applications are still in Sydney undergoing background checks, at least that was the case with my application as of last week even though my received line disappeared almost 4 weeks ago. I think the only way to know when LOT (local office transfer) happens is to connect with a CIC agent. I wouldn't recommend crowding the lines though as I am sure other people might have more urgent questions/needs so inquiring once every few weeks should be ok perhaps.

Hello guys,
since I RQ, the are requesting a travelling record from my country ( Lebanon) for 4 years, so I need a feed back from any person with Lebanese background knowing that Lebanon may not have this procedure and in case they give this report it will take months( I have to submit the docs with in 45 days after the date of the RQ. At the same time they are requesting a translation of all pages of my passport including the blank pages; is it enough without the travelling records?

please it is urgent.. any feedback is appreciated.

@Moonlight, give them everything they have requested. If you are still not able to get the travelling records within a few weeks of the 45-day deadline, send what you have and include a cover letter explaining you have requested the records and will send it when they arrive (include some evidence you have done this).
