It is July 9th... I applied for proof though, not grant of citizenship.

What's difference between "proof of citizenship" and "grant of citizenship"?

Proof - when you already have it (e.g. by descent) but were born abroad so you need to get the citizenship certificate.
Grant - for those who need to be naturalized (i.e. have "earned" citizenship) and that needs to be verified, etc.

Proof means, already citizen and applying for proof. Grant means, applying to become a citizen.

The received line in most cases means that your background checks have been completed and your file is in the process of being transferred to your local office for scheduling test and oath.
Quoted from April 2014 applicants discussion about received line disappearance

Anyone in the May thread received the Booklet / AOR by mail yet?

I haven't either letter or booklet, but have seen on forum that some people rec'd their AOR by email.

I am calling the CIC office today to find out about letter and whether my application was sent to my local office yet.

how long does it take to be sent to your local office after becoming in process?
