Np.

I think SenoritaBella had the same thing show up at the same time I did. Mine was only active for about a day...

Good to know, mine didn't do that until about a week ago, honestly I'm not too worried, in my mind if I get the citizenship in a year (i.e. by the end of may next year) I'll be a happy camper :) after all I came 9 year ago to Canada as an international undergrad on a student visa & had nothing so I can only be grateful, so whether ecas takes 10 days or 3 months to show, it's all fine by me :) relax & be cool, it is after all the Canadian way ;)

Yeah, not too worried. That said, there have been a few oaths for applicants since Jan 2014. Don't know the circumstances, but it looks like there's a chance of getting it in as little as about 6 months from when CIC received the application... since we're already past two months, it could be as soon as Oct/Nov!

do u know in australia, a citizenship application only takes 3-6 momths?
we have no comparison

What we do have is bureaucracy. The fact that it takes longer than about 2 months (including CanadaPost's delivery times) is ridiculous. There just simply isn't that much information to verify.

That's the SLA, I've seen applicants in Sydney getting their oath after 14 days (yes 14 days).

By the way, the application is online, and so is the test (Who said Canada is a G8 country again? )

i am happy if we can get an application done in 140 days, yes 140!

my friend got his in 2 months, and the reasoning is simply that he needs his citizenship to apply student loan.
God bless Australia
