I recently discovered that the Adult citizenship application form was changed in April in Q. 6F and work record is being sought along with application although no mention of it has been done on the checklist or the guide.

Is everyone sending their work record/income related document alongwith their application? I did send work documents. My reason for sending them(even if they are not needed to qualify) was it also serves as proof of physicial presence because my job actually requires me to be there in person (I included my job description which my employer provided).

What kind of work record income documents are you sending ( or sent)? I sent my T4 slips for the last 4 years, most recent paystub, recently signed letter of employment, job description letter. Also, my T4 slips show my addresses for the 4 years and match what's in my application.
I even included boarding passes for my trips, making sure my departure/arrival dates match. For me, a thorough application involves covering all my bases and if it helps me avoid the residency questionnaire, even the better.

What if someone is on OSAP?

Has someone's application from May/2014 group application returned because of the missing work record/income related documents?

Mine, too.

I seem to remember that happening when we did the PR, as well... it would show up, then it would go away, only to come back again later.

Gives me GREAT confidence in the computer systems in use at CIC...

I guess we are all receiving the same treatment...

It's the 8-digit number on the front of your PR card or on your work/study permit and looks like this: xxxx-xxxx

Then it means they have either not opened your file or they have not updated your ecas yet. So may be check again next week or check with the call centre.
What document are you expecting from CIC? They only send the "Discover Canada" book by mail or email when it goes in process, RQ, oath letter or return application if something is missing.

My ecas is not active anymore. It's saying, "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:"
