I'm really sorry to hear that.
I hope everything will be resolved by tomorrow. Those guys (Canada Post) are sometimes very frustrating, I remember when my passport was stuck in a triage facility during the strike in 2011, one week before a very important trip ! It might seem dramatized a bit but I couldn't sleep because of that! I never got it on time and I applied for an emergency one :(

I hear you... good for you to have applied for an emergency one. I couldn't concentrate at work today, sick to my stomach at the thought of my package being lost(i.e. identity theft). Thanks for the kind words and I hope things are resolved tomorrow too.

I also sent mine May23rd. but today i realize that i sent my application with older CIT0002. I hope CIC won't reject mine

I almost did the same thing but Luckily i saw read on this forum that the application has been updated and accordingly managed to change my application to the recent version at the last minute.

Hope yours go through...

There's actually nothing different except a small notice precising not to request History of travel from CBSA. I highly doubt they will reject your application because of that ;)

The application comes with guidelines how to complete , if y read it carefully it will help y a lot , just print it out and read how to complete each question bef y do .. I am sure y will find most of ur answers , and if y still hv inquires , search through this forum to uncover different views and answers .
Gdluck :)

UCI = Unique Client Identification (same as Client ID). It is the 8 digit number that appears on your PR card and looks like so: xxxx-xxxx

I don't know how to get the IELTS practice test, sorry. Check this to see if it is what you are looking for: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/ielts-international-english-language-testing-system-b53.0/

Hi,

Became eligible: 14 May 2014
Sent: 15 May 2014
Received: 16 May 2014
AOR: ?
eCAS appearance:

Any idea how long does it take to get AOR or eCaS?

Did you have at least 1095 days the day before you signed the application?

If you became eligible on May 14th(i.e. you had 1095 days on May 14th) and signed the application on May 14th, then you are short 1 day. You need to have signed the application the next day May 15th and sent it on May 15th (because it can not be dated into the future).

See this, under section 10: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/CIT0002ETOC.asp

Section 10
Question 10 Sign and date the application form with the signature you currently use on other official documents.

Note. Your application will be returned to you if:

•the form is not signed and dated,
•stale-dated (dated more than 90 days before CIC receives it),
•post-dated (dated into the future).

Note: You must be eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship the day before you sign the application form.
