Thanks all....yes...it seem like this morning.....because i was on it late lastnight and never saw anything.

Congratulations my friend!

I checked E-CAS today and it works!!!!

Okay so it says received May 9, starting processing July 10. So I expect to receive my package in the mail this week.

I couldn't find on the E-Cas which processing office it is, so perhaps that will also be stated in the package.

Yay!

ecas or the initial package wont tell you what the local office is. It will be the city you currently live in if there is a CIC in your city. If not, one of the closest CIC offices.

1.We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on May 8, 2014.

2.We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on May 8, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

3.We started processing your application on July 10, 2014.

Woohoo!

My 1st application was received May 7th(according to an email from CIC, which Canada Post forwarded to me since they(Canada Post) never got the delivery signature) but my ecas is not showing anything about my application. Meanwhile applications received May 8th and 9th are in process already. Hmm...

But I had sent a second application(due to the issues above) which was received May 15th, so hopefully this week I will hear something.

My wife's ecas was updated with the following message today, but there is no in process information. Is there any reason for this?

1.We received your payment, along with one or more citizenship applications. To find out how long it takes to process a routine application, please consult the Application Processing Times.

what is your timeline please?
seems that they started on processing second week of may :) goooood news

It was updated yesterday afternoon.

So much for 7 being a lucky number, eh! May be the officer working on applications received on May 7th is on vacation. ;) Hopefully there will be an update on ecas this week.

Mine too was received on 7th... Yet nothing yet

Actually it can be anytime, I checked twice Saturday morning, and when I checked again during the afternoon it was updated.

So I'm sure you'll have some good news soon.
