I currently reside in USA, my visa office is Detroit & I am an Indian citizen. Once my visa is issued by the US CHC is it mandatory that I should enter Canada from the US itself?
My plan is to return to India from US and then travel to Canada from India. Is this allowed or does this process have any other formalities - like an interview in Canadian Consulate in India or is it simple as I can travel from India without any issues?

You can go any country after visa and take a flight to Canada from any country.

You can enter from any country at any time but withing the visa expiary date.......
