Dear All,
I noticed a change in my additional documents status this morning:
It went from "Being Reviewed" to "We do not need additional documents."
However my background is still Not Applicable since 23rd June.
I am FSWO. What this new change might mean?
Regards
Hi Ammar 30, My additional documents also changed from from "Being Reviewed" to "We do not need additional documents." on August 2nd.
How ever my background status is "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." since July 25th.
I'm equally worried as you. What does this additional documents change mean. I think CIC is good with the documents we have provided and doesn't need any additional documents.Probably they are reviewing the Eligibility .

May be seniors like @KiranK should help us in understanding this document change and what does my background status mean .

My timeline is , AOR :May25th, Medical pass : 28-June. BCG: Not sure whether it is IP1 or IP2 from the standard message.

As people are saying once in IP2 , you can expect PPR in 1 to 15 business days, Hoping I would get PPR by August month end.

Actually this status is a good sign it means most likely eligibility is "recommended pass", it happens around IP2 mostly and hence is a good sign.
You background is already in IP2 now, so most likely file is close to be approved or approved if Ottawa is the office.
Ottawa is taking a bit time to issue PPRs to approved applications, so don't worry you will get the golden e-mail in max 10-15 days hopefully.

Thanx alot @KiranK
I emailed CIC last week to know about my visa office. This was their reply :
"Thank you for contacting our office. Please be advised that your application is being processed at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia. For all general inquiries please refer to our website."
I think my office is not Ottawa...does this really makes a difference?

Yes it is not Ottawa dear. What is your AOR?
Sadly it does make a difference, CIO is bit slower. Now for your application it means that your eligibility has been passed by a case analyst at Sydney office and hence the update of additional documents. Now your application most likely will be transferred to a LVO after this due to load distribuition, where a Visa Officer will check all checks again including eligibility, when the Visa officer at LVO starts these checks on your file, you will get IP2 update the, and hopefully PPR in next 15-20 days maximum, sometimes even sooner depending on how fast or slow your Local Visa Office is. Now the processing time form this stage onwards all depend on the queue in which your file goes and how fast is your Local Visa Office.
The good news here is that at least you will be out of Sydney now , it is very slow. Also as your first check of eligibility is passed, its very rare that the Visa officer will doubt the case much now. So chances of rejection have decreased. Only very rarely Visa officers reject cases in IP2, most visa officers just do mere formality and pass the file. Some visa officers might call Employers to check and verify employment, due to random quality checks etc. Mostly you will be fine now IMO.
Wish you luck.

Kiran has become a certified consultant. Wooooow, this was intense. Can we start up an immigration outfit :D:D
The reply I got from CIC yesterday indicated that I haven't paid RPRF and a link was attached to the email because CIO is done with my file. Once your review of additional documents changed to " we do not need additional documents" implies that CIO check is completed and your eligibility was recommended passed at CIO. It then goes to an LVO. Once the LVO opens your file, it triggers IP2.

CEC inland AOR May 04,
Medical passed : 26th May 2017
After that there is no updated on profile not even IP2. Background check status is : Your application in progress we will send you message when we start your background check. Extremely worried is anybody there with same situation ? is anybody know what is the reason for delaying ?
Hi @krupalpatel41 As you might have read everywhere on the forum that CEC is slower than ever before! You have passed the medical on 26th May while many CEC applicants pass the medical on 2nd August, including me! Believe me, you are ahead of many applicants. Do you check the tracker regularly? I would suggest you to do it. Just arrange the users by AOR and check the stages of May 4th :) You'll feel much better.

I hope this helps.

So you got your GCMS? Any thing to help relax?, although eligibility is good news for sure:)!! Also john mentioned something very useful about due dates, do check which is yours, as that is supposedly the day they have a look at your file again. its rotting in between sadly:oops:.

What Is R10 KiranK Maam
R10 check refers to the documents completeness check. This the foremost check for our application, the case analyst checks that whether we have provided all documents needed for our file as requested by CIC.This is more of a quantitative check and not qualitative as regards to verifying documents. Most applications due to missing documents or PCCs are rejected at this stage. If you pass this stage then it means you have nothing to worry about missing documents and CIC is satisfied that you have provided all documents needed. IP1 means R10 is going on and when it changes to NA we can be sure that R10 was passed successfully.

My gcms notes should be available next week. I should get an idea of what's going on.
Hey @infinix Welcome back fellow AOR friend. Still stuck at NA eh?
