Hello Guys, just question I had. I am on PGWP valid till december 2025. I applied for PR under spousal sponsorship in May 2024. Will I be able to extend my PGWP ?

I did the same not necessarily extending but you are going to apply for a new work permit if you want to do it. Since that would be classified as a sowp

Thanks. Do you know for what lenght they give new work permit ? Like how many years or months valid ?

Have you submitted your p1?
Its IRCC. depends on their mood. Someone gets on same da, someone gets next day and someone gets after a week.. so there is no fixed time.

they haven't updated my gckey but tracker has been updated
Now just waiting for p2

I see background check on tracker completed, however on gckey it was updated from 'Not started' to 'In Progress', haven't received P1 yet, I hope it's not another waiting game

Maybe cause u sent it in Thursday and if so close to The Weeknd u going to get your answer maybe on a Monday but they always reply fast to the p1

Same here, I received and responded to P1 two days back and still no P2. Waiting for it

For some reason, I cannot link my application to gckey. So I am only checking tracker all the time.
