It is the total number of people including parents. So LICO is 4 people - you, spouse, child, and parent.

Can you still apply for a parent’s super visa even if you are unemployed by using your spouse’s proof of employment, T4 and portfolio etc??

Hi all,

I had applied for a Supervisa for my mother in May, and haven't had much progress. Here is my timeline

Application submitted 05 May 2023
Biometric (from previous supervisa application in 2019)
Medical 21 July 2023
Medical passed sep 28 2023
BG in Progress
Eligibility Not started

I haven't heard anything after that. My mother is in India. I am so worried, anybody else in a similar boat/timeline?

This thread is dead, so I am guessing everyone from May have got their visas by now?

Oh wow! Our timelines are almost the same. Do you know which office is processing your application? Where is your mother/father living currently?
My mother is in India. I am not certain if the current political situation between India and Canada will affect my application timelines
