I have started a new thread for May 2023 Super Visa Applications.
Kindly posts timelines for your respective applications.

Super Visa Application for Parents-in-law.
Country of Origin: India
Application Submitted: May 7, 2023, 2 PM MST
Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL) Received: May 7, 6:10 PM MST, only for Principal Applicant.

PS: When I submitted the Application for both applicants as a group, I received Confirmation of Online Application Transmission, Submission Confirmation, and Client Application Summary for the Main Principal Applicant, but for Spouse, I only received Confirmation of Online Application Transmission and Submission Confirmation. Later on, I received BIL for Main Principal Applicant only.

Got updates today...!!

I submitted a web form with the Receipt on the same day May 7th around 630 PM MST for my Mother-in-law who didn't get BIL.
I got confirmation of my web form on May 8th, 5:12 PM almost after 24 hours.

Received Client Application Summary (Which was missing for Mother-in-law. Only the Primary applicant received it.) on May 9th, 8:56 AM MST, and UCI (Which was missing for Mother-in-law. Only the Primary applicant got UCI.)got updated at the same time.

After 3-4 hours at 12:50 PM MST, I received BIL for my Mother-in-law.

Also received an acknowledgment receipt for my web form to inform me that my documents (Receipt of Biometric) have been added to my file at 2:54 PM MST.

Biometrics updated (from past 2 refusals): 3rd May 2023
Additional Medical required: 15th May 2023

Super Visa File Submission: May 7, 2023
BIL Received: May 7, 2023 for Primary Applicant Only (Father-in-law)
BIL Received: May 9, 2023 for Secondary Applicant (Mother-in-law)
Biometrics Performed and Updated: May 15, 2023 for both Applicants

Background Check is under Process for both Applicants.

Applied for my mother's supervisa on May 11th.
Received biometrics letter in few hours and my mother completed it on May 16th and It is updated on IRCC site.
Any idea what would be the next process. Do they require medical test for supervisa ?

Yes, CIC requires Medical for Super Visa. You will get Medical Request Letter (IME) which you will have to perform asap so that your application can process further. It is highly recommended to finish IME (upfront medical) which will save time later on. The time that will take you to get Medical Request to the time your doctor submits the form to immigration will be added to the processing time of the current 52 days. But, anyways it's just a matter of 1-2 weeks extra I would say!!

Not necessarily I applied for super visa and both of parent's applications are showing Not need for medical test under MEDICAL.

Can you share your timeline. I guess it is mandatory for super visa and optional or not required for temp visitor visa.
