Yes the system is broken, time for a much needed change of the system. Hope we get our citizenship on time to help make the change.

Same thing over here, I got this response from our local MP,
Our office received a response from IRCC regarding your citizenship application. The agent I spoke with advised that the application is in progress at the processing office in Vancouver. The knowledge test has passed and the criminality assessment has passed. The security assessment is currently in progress and the language, residency, and prohibition assessments have not started.
The agent assured our office that nothing further is required at this time and that IRCC will contact you directly once a final decision is made or if they require any additional documentation. Our office will continue to monitor the progress of your application and share any additional updates that we receive.
Apparently, the security clearance don't have a deadline, they can take as much time as needed, nobody will even allow you to reach out to no one, all they told me was to wait and be patient.

I applied on May 17 2023 online. Everything turned green in September 2023 except prohibitions. So on May 4 2024 prohibition got green. Now citizenship ceremony not started. Another waiting game started lol. I dont know when I am getting the oath. It's frustrating. I hope all well for everyone.
Downloaded my certificate today! It took me 11 months and 2 days from the time I got my AOR but I'm glad that it's now complete. All the best!

Thank you for sharing and Congrats. You are finally done with IRCC. Don't know when for us. Could you please let us know what was your due data for language, physical presence and prohibition as per GCMS notes if you had applied for it? I just want to see if all these stages are done as per the due date mentioned in the GCMS notes. My due data for LPP is on june 16, 2024, so few more weeks.
I never applied for GCMS notes - the info is either redacted or vague and it doesn't seem to speed up an application. What's your timeline? Are you stuck on LPP?
I applied for Citizenship in May 2023, my file was transferred from Scarborough to Mississauga IRCC office and I have been on E-Grant DF and then E- Grant. My LPP was completed in October 2023, in December of 2023 I wrote IRCC an email and they never replied the email only for them to now reply the email I wrote over 5 months ago yesterday saying

Your application is in the queue to be rescheduled for a ceremony and we are unable provide you with a specific timeframe. Once you have been rescheduled, we will contact you by email.

The reply above is from IRCC Mississauga office, the IRCC has never schedule me for oath ceremony that I missed, so why are they now telling me about rescheduled ceremony, I am fed up with IRCC games regarding this my citizenship application.

They have templates. Used the one which had rescheduled instead of using scheduled one.

I had applied for citizenship on May 2023 and as per my online application status last update was on july 31, 2023 with my background and citizenship test completed. I got a ghost update on october 2023 and then another ghost update on may 8, 2024. I called up ircc and an agent told me that LPP is also done and they are just waiting to schedule the oath ceremony. When I asked for a timeline, he just told me to wait. From October 2023 till few days ago, I had contacted my MP many times but was of no use as his office simply provides me the update that I can see online. What I learnt is that we need to wait while they decide to shower their blessings on our application. Nothing else we can do. I am just waiting to get my e-cert and passport to be done once and for all with IRCC. Not sure how long to wait, anyways we cannot do anything about this. So keep on waiting..........
