My daughter's application has no updates since June 1, 2022 and everything is In Progress.
It does seem like paper-based applications get processed much faster than online ones. This is very counterintuitive because we usually think that since online applications are received instantly and assigned to someone upon receipt, while paper based applications need to be mailed, opened and then processed by hand. It looks like my mother will have a very long wait measured in years.Location: London

This website cannot be used to check citizenship applications as far as I understand. You must go to this website https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login to create an account after receiving an AOR and then log into that account. My mother's account is stuck after the online applicationEverything is showing Completed except 'Citizenship Ceremony - Not Started' on my spouse and my profile on https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login.
Checked on ECAS (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=ecas) and it is showing 'Decision Made' for both of us.

Logically, "Language skills" and "Citizenship test" should be "Waived" because she was over 55 on the day of the application submission. Physical presence should be quick, it is just a matter of checking whether she did leave Canada and reenter on the dates that were written on the application (checking with CBSA) and checking with the CRA on the SIN to see whether she did file the taxes (of course she did, I filed it for her). In addition, they probably would run her name through Canadian police databases to see if she has ever been charged with or convicted of anything (she has not).
No it was not. I just submitted it like everybody else didWow impressive timeline. Just curious, was your application classed as 'urgent processing'?
