Uggh, that sucks . Hang in there.still no updates for me
HiHello, finally got an update about my lost application since May 6 2022. After calling to IRCC in 2 days I received an email from them and they are put my application on hold. Here is a message:
Your application for Canadian citizenship is incomplete. We cannot start processing your application for the following reasons:
Physical Presence
In our records, we cannot confirm your time in Canada before you became a permanent resident (PR).”
I’m happy and sad in one moment. So I should fix some issues and resubmit it and wait again. Btw I don’t know why they sent me this message because I did everything right when I applied in May 6 last year… Nothing was wrong in my old application I’m sure on 100%.
Aloe things changed in online application so I have to update my digital photo, a new passport etc.
But anyway it’s better than nothing…
I have requested gcms notes and sent Vancouver office another email. Getting very frustrated and keep seeing people getting rescheduled ceremony denied. Makes me nervous about my October vacation which I planned in advance with no worries of getting ceremony done in time.Uggh, that sucks . Hang in there.
I did already, let's see whats up. A dear friend of mine who is not in this group just got everything completed yesterday so who knows? maybe they are working now lolSo much truth in this comment, hahaha. I had sent them a detailed email 2days ago asking them for updates on my application. They never replied, but maybe it prompted them to do something. Would you consider sending them an email too ?
Did you try to call the customer service line? Sometimes the agents might be kind enough to tell you what's going on. As for your trip, I had travel plans too back in April, I was nervous. But I traveled anyway. I'll say don't cancel your plans yet (my opinion). From what I've deduced, Vancouver office sends out their oath notice almost 20days in advance (they've sent out notice for those in 2nd week of July already). So If your oath notice doesn't come in Sept, you'll be probably good to travel in Oct. But hopefully we will all be done before October.I have requested gcms notes and sent Vancouver office another email. Lol. I believe they are. Have they responded?I did already, let's see whats up. A dear friend of mine who is not in this group just got everything completed yesterday so who knows? maybe they are working now lol
I found this thread. Read through the chats here then respond to ircc.Hi, we are out of Canada and received the oath date for 29th June. Anyone who was in same situation (outside canada) what acceptable reasons you gave to postpone the oath ceremony. We don’t have any travel plans soon going back to canada.
I tried calling but it keeps going to the busy line and then hangs upDid you try to call the customer service line? Sometimes the agents might be kind enough to tell you what's going on. Congratulations to my Vancouver mates.OMG can’t believe my LPP’s completed. Tracker updated on June 26th. So I’ll just need to wait another 10 years for the oath now. Vancouver office finally back to their work spot
