It looks like online applications are finally catching up to paper applications, and the paper applications haven't moved much in the past two weeks. This should encourage more people to use online applications.

No AOR is reported for regular processing applications beyond the May 21 delivered ones. I think we can expect online and paper applications to start moving in parallel soon. I submitted mine on the 26th. Hopefully, they get to it in a week or so.

I was able to create an online account to track status using my UCI and Application Number. The status says it’s “In progress” and that it was last updated on August 31. What does this mean?

Same for me as well. Is this what is needed to update my application tracker in the spreadsheet to "In Progress"?

I also found that I'm not able to get information through old ECAS (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?app=ecas&lang=en). Not sure if applications are being updated on old ECAS.
