Hi, guys last week I contacted IRCC to learn the status. This is what I got from them. I guess most of you might have already received it. Basically a generic message!

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

Due to the ongoing situation related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), some IRCC offices are currently operating with reduced or critical staff only.

We are working on processing applications as quickly as possible; however, processing times are affected and any disruption caused by COVID-19 is not reflected accurately on our website. We will make all the necessary efforts to finalize the application as soon as possible.

Since you all recently got your AOR, I would like your help in completing my application. While submitting our application, do we not need to submit medicals - if we are outside of canada? I know it was required earlier, and i don't know if IRCC made this a new rule but I am worried about my application being rejected.

According to their website, they will send us a form - only after which we should take the medical. At the time of application, we just need to mention that we are outside of canada. Is that true?

I have submitted my application without medical as panels were not taking appointments due to instructions from IRCC. But recently they have resume upfront medicals. You can check with your IRCC panel.

Hi Everyone I have zero updates on my application. Everything is dead-locked at in-progress status since AoR 19 May 2021! A friend of mine told me that he normally noticed changes happen every 3 months, so let's hope something will change in August!
