Biometrics Submitted - Aug 12, 2020

Still waiting on Background check. Sent an enquiry via webform and got a reply saying that they are severely understaffed due to COVID-19.

Meanwhile , the progress bar ended at 100% on Nov 18 and it looks like the application is in the bottom 20% pool of processing

Mine is similar to your timeline may 14th aor with criminality(background check) still in process...ignore that 20% statement its same for everyone who crossed the 6months timeline..
Webform not always provide you accurate info sometimes you recieve the automated reply like what you said...
As criminality is from outside sources for some applicants its taking longer whereas others soon enough...lately atleast we can see may applicants recieving approvals...soon you might be hearing as well...till then waiting

Hi everyone,
I got my PR confirmation today .
AOR: 25 May 2020
Medical: 14 July 2020
Biometric given: 07 Nov 2020
Background check: 08 Jan 2021

I feel like the secret to get the approval is to request for GCMS notes and call IRCC. I requested GCMS notes 3 days ago and called CIC last two days and got my PR today. Just an assumption if it helps anyone. Thank you everyone and hope everyone gets it at the earliest possible.

UPDATE*: IRCC called back, eligibility-passed, security-passed, criminality-in process. It's CPC Ottawa. She was not able to give me any ETA. When I asked if appl gets approved, how long till i receive actual COPR, she said it might take few days, weeks, even months... I'm happy I got more info on my appl but I think it's still a looong wait ahead. Good luck to us!

Today, I called twice and couldn't get thru at all. I wanted to know about my eligibility, criminality and security status as I saw in this forum that people were able to get this info over phone without GCMS notes. Gotta try calling them later again..

Anyone got their COPRs recently? Please share.

Unfortunately with COVID delays are plentiful and many are in similar situation and just have to wait it out.
