cross posting my update from the other May 2020 thread as well for those not watching both threads:

i just got my second batch of GCMS notes (applied end of july) and am not sure if I should get confident...

notes show eligibility passed by officer (after review requested) on july 28th. Lots of commentary about checking my letters etc and confirming my employment. Also confirmed the 50 extra points for job offer were awarded. No A35, 36 or 37 concerns so criminality is passed. I think security might be passed or at least just pending biometrics. Infosharing is completed and there's a small redaction that I think might be referring to A34 based on the sentence structure. the security section ~page 30 says security passed by the case officer on the same date as this big EE review note.

The very latest note after case officer passing EE is "file pending biometrics".

What's super strange though is that assessment section near the top of the notes says EE passed, security blank/redacted (was not started on last set of GCMS notes), criminality in progress, medical in progress, infosharing complete. The later section on medicals is also unchanged since the last notes and still says medical at M5 grade and ready to be assessed.

However, the big case officer notes block about EE also says "medical: passed" at the end...

so I'm not sure but i'm quietly hopeful that this isn't going to go through the medical PFL evaluation route but I also don't want to be overly optimistic. I've sent it all over to my medical specialist lawyer for her opinion.

R10 check was done on june 24th and all this EE passing and other notes were all from july 28th. My first set of GCMS notes was from July 2nd. The case analyst review was july 27th and the officer review was july 28th. Which aligns with the time when I saw the flurry of ghost updates and application status back and forth on my CIC account.

I got my first set of GCMS notes via the $5 ATIP request, took about a month. My second set I used the free version (misunderstood the requirements the first time) and this second set arrived in about 2 weeks. Looks like they were pulled just under a week after I requested it (public holiday weekend was in there).

It's wild that they essentially passed eligibility 1 month after R10, check, and if the notes are the only section to be believe, it's basically all done and pending biometrics....

@caipsnotes @legalfalcon : can you please analyze this case and comment as per your experience: at what stage this application is? All the April and May 2020 CEC Inland applicatnts have quite similar status. Only biometriric is pending and we are good to receive COPR?

Hi,

Can someone please help me here.

I have received a request to submit an RCMP Certified Criminal Record Check based on fingerprints. I just wanted to know the steps. Do i need to submit application to my local police center(in canada) to start with or can directly check with Accredited fingerprinting companies??

Thanks

If you see your page 2, under assesments:

Also on the same page, at the top right corner you will see this:

In your case, since you requested under the Privacy Act, you will see s 21 of the Privacy Act.

this means that your security is ongoing or has been completed.

To read on s15 / 16 see https://bit.ly/2PVIBch

To read on how security is done and the procedure, see https://bit.ly/3arIKh0

thanks, under assessments my security entry is blank like in your picture, and the corner of the pages does say S.21. Under admissibilities-security section it says security is passed.

I don't know, it doesn't seem right. Eligibility and security I can accept as they're clearly listed as passed in their appropriate sections. But I'm hesitant to get excited about medical pass because it only says that buried in the middle of the eligibility confirmation Officer notes, it's not updated to say medical passed in the medical section (still a fail there) or in the assessments summary (in progress there).
