For people who were/are in Canada, I think IRCC will obtain PCC directly from RCMP themselves, not through applicants. Correct me if I'm wrong but I haven't seen any one (who was/are in Canada) being requested by IRCC to submit RCMP PCC.

The rule regarding PCC is as follows:

  • For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than 6 months before the submission of the e-APR.
  • For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant stayed in that country for 6 months or more in a row.
  • Police certificates meeting the above requirements can be accepted even if they have an expiry date that has passed.
  • This includes the requirement to provide a police certificate for countries in which the individual has travelled for 6 months or more in a row, whether or not the individual had an established residential address during this time.
  • Police certificates are required upfront and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has spent 6 months or more in a row within the last 10 years. The individual does not need to provide one for any period of time before the age of 18.

You have to get PCC from PSK. There is no requirement for sate wise PCCs for india.

Did anyone get his/her application process
a) No, the fee receipt will be added to your file.
b) No
c) Usually the processing starts within 1-3 weeks, but now due to COVID-19, there are no time lines. One indicator is that as soon as your UCI number changes from CANXXXXXX to a 8 or 10 dight number, that means the processing has begun.
Hi @legalfalcon , In the Webform I added my temporary UCI number (without CAN, i.e only last digits as it was taking only limited digits) along with my Profile number.

My question:

Will there be any traceability error or any other problem? However, I have mentioned my profile number.

As there are no signs of application process initiation yet (AOR 19th May)

As long as you have mentioned your application number starting with E, there should be no problem. As regards the UCI, if you only see one starting with CAN, then you have not yet been allocated a UCI number.

Hello everyone,
I applied on may 27
I was just talking to my friend and he included his ielts result in the education tab but i did not since i did not see any where to upload the test results

Hello guys, I have submitted my file on 27th May and I got AOR on the same day, It didn’t ask me to submit proof of funds, as I have put 0$ funds ( applying under CEC), should I submit LoE through webform conforming my eligibility in CEC to the visa officer Or will it be fine? If anyone knows please let me know if anyone have same case
Thanks in advance
