Bio Request - April 3rd
Bio Done - April 15th
Bio updated online - April 15th
Background and Eligibility started - April 16th
Acknowledgment email rcvd - April 17th
Correspondence/Bio Validity Letter - April 24th
PPR - April 24th
Passport submitted - April 25th
Online account went approved with visa details - April 26th
Stamped passport recvd - April 27th

just received mail from VFS - Your processed decision envelope has been dispatched from the IRCC Office.

CIC online status has changed to approved.

Passport delivered to CIC: May 6th

Approved with counterfoil info: May 8th
Waiting for tracking info .

Two major thing to consider for TRV, are;

1. Home ties - house/property in your name that you will go back to, a job that keeps you ties as you have to resume that after returning, your kids you are leaving behind and will then return to them

2. Financial support - Enough finances in your bank to support your trip. You also attach pay stubs here

Parent's property has often resulted in Visa rejection.

Hey! Another question: after document's status is counterfoil, what is the next step? Will I receive a message saying that it has been dispatched or I just have to check my tracking number 24/7 hoping it will get activated soon?

hi everyone
My timeline for TRV from pakistan, lahore, online application, it might be some source of info for fellows
I hold valid US b1/ b2 visa and have visited US for 2 weeks. I wanted to apply for canada TRV as m planning to visit US and if m granted visa for canada, I can visit canada for few days
Application Submitted online on 29 april
Got biometrics request same day in my account
given biometric on 6 May
my account says
Eligibility : we are reviewing weather you meet eligibility critera
Background: we are processing your background check
my biometrics reflected in account on 6 May but I haven't received ack or correspondence email/letter
lets see how many days they need to complete my decision
