TRV is successful if the applicant is able to convince the VO that;Hello @myra20sharma
I have apply online on 22 may 2019 got my biometter letter on 23 may 2019 n done biometric on same day
I hav already been to Canada once on student exchange program visa stamp was for 6 months n came back within 2 months so was worried their would be any problem for approval as my mom dad have supervisa and my brother is Canadian PR
I am assuming you applied before biometrics became mandatory. Biometrics adds time in the processing. Nobody can predict how long it takes.It just shows below.

Did not get any letter after Biometrics Collection Letter. My TRV came in 5 days last year. I assumed it will be same for my daughter. Did not apply for her US visa as interview waiting period was 55 days so her cousins decided to come to Canada and spend summer holidays together. Now this, what a heart break for all the girls
TRV is successful is the applicant is able to convince the VO that;
1. He/She is financially not dependent and can bear his/her expenses during the trip
2. Has enough home and family ties in the country of residence to which he/she will return to
3. Travel history - helps
Nah, Biometrics were done on 8th May. I think Biometrics became mandatory early this year. I've to visit US in 1st week of June for my official work so plan was to be in Canada by 15th May, stay there for 2 weeks then she comes back to INDIA and i leave for Chicago. Now i will have to alter my plans and go through hoops with my boss etc ..I am assuming you applied before biometrics became mandatory. Biometrics adds time in the processing. Nobody can predict how long it takes.
The convocations have made the process slower, as I can see. Lots of students are graduating next month and are calling their families for convocation. My own mother is landing this weekend for her son's convocation. They seem to be swamped with larger number of files. All we can do is hope for the best!
Anyways, the summers aren't here yet. If your daughter comes in June she'll be having a warmer and brighter time with her cousins!
Hope she gets her soon! All the best!
Travel history is helpful but not the only parameter to decide your Visa.Is my travel history to Canada is positive I mean I can get visa 90%
