Hello,
I applied for TRV in Delhi, Following are my timelines:
Online Application Submission Confirmation: May 8th
Biometric Collection Letter: May 9th
Biometrics Completed: May 11th
Correspondence Letter: May 23rd
Decision (Application Refused): May 23rd
I am currently not working, and my husband is a US citizen. My husband lives in Seattle, and he has applied for my US green card, but it will take another 4-5 months to process, and while we are waiting for that we thought of meeting up in Canada as my husband was traveling to Vancouver (2 hours drive from Seattle) for work related trip. For my application, my husband provided letter from his office regarding his business trip, his proof of US Citizenship, his bank statements (approximate balance of USD 30,000), and also the receipt regarding my Green Card Application at US Citizenship and Immigration Services.
I gave the reason that I want to spend time with my husband and join him on his business trip. Also, following is my travel history:
Nov 2015 - Dec 2015 - Singapore (Study)
May 2016 - UAE (Tourism)
May 2017 - Thailand (Tourism)
Feb 2019 - France, Switzerland (Tourism)
20 Apr - 6 May 2019 - UK (Tourism)
In my refusal letter, consular gave the following reasons:
- I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of IRPR, based on your travel history.
- I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
- I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
Is there something additional I can provide if I reapply to make my case stronger for all of the above reasons stated by the consular for the rejection of my application? I was thinking of adding a cover letter, sworn-in affidavit by me and my husband that our intent is to only visit and spend time together.
@Bryanna : do you think anything I can do to make my case stronger in case I reapply?
