Congrats. But I have a question. What do you mean by unfamiliar numbers? I know that CIC call from UNKNOWN only. I receive lots of calls everyday and I do not answer most of them especially if they are 1800. Can we know your region and was it a normal number?

omg that's so true, I rarely answer strange numbers too, thought that were spams calls and I got charged to my phone bill later lol. I passed test on Mar 10 and scheduled for ceremony April 17 but got cancelled due to covid19. my application is in vancouver ...still waiting for virtual, hopefully coming soon. all the best to everyone )

please answer the call when it says "unknown". I'm accountant and we are working from home, we had to install a software to hide our personal phone numbers when we call the clients so they don't know our personal phone numbers. I guess IRCC did the same

The first call I got was from Ottawa area code (613).
While the second call shows up as "Private number".

I normally don't answer from unfamiliar numbers, but for some reason, I decided to answer these calls.
Also on my phone, if it is a spam call, it would already be labeled by my phone as spam so I don't really answer them.

If that was the case then test would have been Started in provinces with zero or no covid cases.

All last week i got call from unknown number and when i answer it.. I dont hear anyone at all.. That number call me at least 3 times already so im wondering if it is immigration calling me to give me my Oath date which would be a good thing.

Hi. You must contact IRCC customer care on Monday. Call centre is now opens from 9 AM to 4 PM EST. Wish you all the best.

Hi I received call starting with 416xxxx it is Toronto area number however the caller was from IRCC to inform for my virtual oath on 22nd July,2020. My earlier oath was scheduled for 31st March 2015. I was told that I will be getting instructions over email but till date niether any email received nor svad updated
Those who are waiting for oath, I wish them all for early oath. Thanks

Okay everyone. Since we started noticing lots of progress, I started updating our sheet as of today. Kindly, everyone who got a call/email for virtual oath, update us here even if you already took the oath. We need the tracker to be updated and to give everyone a clear indication on where we are going.
