February 2019 Citizenship Applicants

Here is my timeline:

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 5, 2019.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 27, 2019.
  3. We started processing your application on April 18, 2019.
From 2019 it is still in Process. My PR card will expire in Jan 2021. Should I renew the card? If I do renew then will it conflict with my application?

What should I do? Should I call them or send a Web Question? What’s the helpline number?

I sent my citizenship application January 2020. Received AOR March 09. I sent my PR Card(will expire on July 23, 2020) application for renewal last May 25.

Application sent : 7th February 2019
Application Received : 8th February 2019
AOR : 9th April 2019
In Process : 16th May 2019
Interview for citizenship(No test being Senior) : 5th Feb 2020
Oath scheduled for : 31st Mar 2020 (Then cancelled)
Phone from IRCC received today :13 July,2020
Virtual oath fixed : 22nd July 2020 at 8.45 am
I wish for early oath ceremony for all those whose ceremony was cancelled and waiting for virtual ceremony.

I have completed my journey for becoming Canadian. Today my virtual oath lasts only 15 minutes.
The host, and officer and Honorable Judge all were very cordial and friendly nature. I have signed with blue ink Ballpen.
I was advised to scan and send the pdf version of my signed oath forms to the host who have send me the invitation.
I am thankful to all members of this forum for extending their help and imparting guidance as and when I was needing.
Really a great FORUM. I pray to almighty to fulfill wishes of all aspirants in becoming Canadian soon.

Congrats.. Did you had any one else taking oath or you were alone?

Hi Today I have completed my journey to Canadian Citizenship. My ecas is now status is showing as COMPLETE. I pay my regards to all our members
right from 2015 when my PR was approved to date of completion of journey for becoming Canadian Citizen. I am also indebted to the Canada Visa for providing this platform for exchanging views and getting useful in formations and also gjuidance from fellow members. I wish for early Canadian Citizenship to all members who are in queue or planning to apply for he Citizenship.

So I received an email asking if I would be okay with a virtual oath ceremony and was asked to respond within 5 days. I responded right away and said I would be okay with that.

It's been a week since my response and I haven't heard anything back yet
