Good News! :

Our Client Support Centre has reopened telephone services to respond to client questions. Technical issues may occur as we implement this new system.

As always, online enquiries can be submitted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through IRCC’s online Web form: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...orate/contact-ircc/client-support-centre.html

This means nothing. I call them today and they said dont expect anything for unforeseeable future. So I wont call it a good news....Its just ab update than a good news...

I was so close to my test date on 21 march and unfortunately received an email on 14th march that tests are cancelled until further notice

Our ceremony was on the 30th of March... now no one knows when it will be.... and I do not know why they won't send it by post

Hi Guys, Anyone here with this timeline, please reply: I have a few of my friends who submit the application 2 to 3 months after me (i.e., Aug 2019) and they all got Test either on Jan 2020 and Feb 2020 (before COVID situation happened in CAD), also they had done the oath couple months ago. However, in my case, I haven't got a citizenship test yet. As per my timeline, I should have gotten my test at least somewhere between Nov 2019 to Feb 2020, not no LUCK :(

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on June 3, 2019.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on August 15, 2019.
  3. We started processing your application on September 26, 2019.

Please share your timeline if you have a similar situation as mine. Thanks a lot!

Got an email for virtual oath ceremony just now for the 1st of june. My ceremony was earlier scheduled for the 17th of March. Edmonton office.
Very glad for you and very glad to hear that in this completely stressful situation. And I would just kindly ask you to say did you have an urgent reason or you are in a regular procedure?

Hello everyone.
I just completed my virtual oath ceremony. I am not an essential worker and I did not apply for emergency or fast service.
Process:
Confirm your address.
Hold a scissor to cut your pr card
Verify 2 pieces of Id's.
Take your Oath.
Sign the Oath Affrimation form, scan it and send it back to them.

Finally the journey ends. I wish everyone else all the best :)

Thank you.
