Please guide me what shall I do...not sure why my application is delayed as such..status shows as below......processing of my application was started on September 19, 2019....what could be the reason for such a long delay.....how long I need to wait for the test?
Citizenship
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on April 29, 2019.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on July 18, 2019.
  3. We started processing your application on September 19, 2019.,

Can someone provide me a link to the file which is referred in this thread...

My Application Date was April 29 and processing start date as Sep 19...still no exam date..

No email received ..also while checking the status I noticed the address shown in the status is of my India residence ..I dont have anyone there at the moment

I am waiting, but you gave your test in Scarbrough, most of the people who gave test there were invited to oath the next day. Was just wondering if you were asked to submit any additional docs ?

You can always call CIC and find out... ask if there's anything they need from you to move on to the next step.

guys I have a quick question on citizenship test & interview location
I am about to apply for citizenship in next 2 months. I am living in Alberta, Calgary right now. I am wondering that is there anyway that I can choose the test & interview office location? I am thinking about moving to Toronto after I send the package. Am I able to choose Toronto instead of Calgary? if yes, is it easy? and how?

Thank you so much

You will need to update your home address by clicking the "Update this home address" on your profile and then change address to your current mailing address. It takes a while to update if my memory serves me well. They seem to be using the address you had before moving here.

To add to this... once you provide your email address, all correspondence will be via email so chances are you won't miss any correspondence and you'd have enough time to ensure they have the right mailing/residential address before the process is completed.

GTA applicants hold on for a while longer. Maybe we'll hear something next year.
