Dear Abubakar, I got FP request letter yesterday, I am concerned whether this is a standard-format letter or mine is different, so just inquiring if you got a letter starting with below paragraph,
"After reviewing the biographical information on your application form, there are questions in your case with
regard to sections 21 and/or 22 of the Citizenship Act, explained further on the second page of this letter.
To proceed with your application, you must have your fingerprints taken within thirty (30) days of the
date of this letter"
It also started with the same paragraph for me. Don't worry.

Questions to the crowd... How do CIC/IRCC communicate with the applicant for AOR, Test Invite, Fingerprint & Oath ? email or snail mail ?
That is apart from updated status in eCAS.

Just finished my test and interview in Calgary. Got 20/20 and interview took <5 mins. Everything was done in about 20 mins. Officer just looked at my pr card and driver's license and made me sign on two documents. Not questions asked at all. Location - Calgary.

Any estimated wait times for Oath ceremony now a days?

Congratulations!! I will be attending test in next 2 weeks in Calgary. Any suggestion about the practice exams? Dates always kill me.

No need to worry at all. I think I had just 1 question from history, in which date was given and I had to figure what war happened in that year, making it easier than to remembering the date itself. Most of the questions were based on common sense and did not require to read the book at all. Just do couple online exams and make sure you get >80% in them. You will be all set. Hope this helps a bit.

URGENT HELP NEEDED!

Hi everyone,

I have been thinking about a situation and can't seem to find an answer. I am moving to an European country for studies by mid of Dec. I am currently an Indian citizen, and now waiting for oath ceremony to become Canadian citizenship. I am applying for student visa for that European country next week. Now, when I become Canadian citizenship assuming before I leave for European country, I know I can still travel on Indian passport for 3 months grace period, but I am not too sure what would happen to my status in the European country when I travel there on Indian passport as Canadian citizen. Moreover, I won't be able to apply for student visa for Canadian passport, while residing in that country. This European country needs applicant to apply for student visa in home country only. So they can potentially ask me to come to Canada and reapply for visa which might take upto a month in the middle of the studies.

Given the situation above, can I ask for expedited process to oath ceremony, get Canadian passport as soon as I can, and get student visa on Canadian passport? Would IRCC consider this scenario?

Your responses are highly appreciated!

I guess you will first need to think how you will get Canadian Passport sitting at that European country...only option in my opinion is to get Canadian passport before moving there...

btw, which country is that? So someone can help you better
