Hello guys! I received AOR just now! Please update. I spoke with an agent today(btw he was very polite and helpful) and he advised me to wait for a couple of more weeks as the delay time is within the timeframe. Is it coincidence? I dunno but I am relieved. Hopefully all May applicants will receive AOR soon. Good luck everyone!

Could have FP request or RQ, anywhere before 4 or after 6 per some anecdotes on the forum.

Thanks for chime in. But those are for non routine application though right?
I

Not neccesarily.

Receiving a request for FP or RQ does make the application non-routine.

This link explains what is considered as a non-routine application.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1169

"We consider your application non-routine if:..
... we need you to submit extra documents, like:

  • fingerprints
  • residence documents"

Congrats! May I ask what's the number that you called?

Hi all, I got my AOR email on Aug 8. Yay! If ECAS refers to the website where I can track my application status, then I also have that since Aug 9. Please update the spreadsheet accordingly.

Thank you skaramakov.... Im glad im not too late for the party

Hi all, I got my AOR email on Aug 8. Yay! If ECAS refers to the website where I can track my application status, then I also have that since Aug 9. Please update the spreadsheet accordingly.

It refers to "in-progress" ECAS. What you most likely have listed on your ECAS is "application received". I believe a lot of people mistake this when updating the spreadsheet here.
