Received my AOR yesterday and now I have my ecas access that says Application Received. Do they usually notify you of ecas change in status thru email? Or I need to check every now and then?

I haven't seen them notifying for any change in ECAS. If that was the case we would have got a notification for access We will have to keep checking, as per the current scenario i guess it takes around a month to change into in process.

Does travelling for a month make a difference in the processing of your file? I recently got my AOR and I am travelling for a month to India. Does this make an impact on my file?
Please reply guys. I am aware that we have to inform CIC if we travel for more than 2 weeks.

I do'nt think you need to inform anyone while you are travelling out of Canada after mailing in your application. I just travelled to India after mailing my application.

Hi,

I only entered information while I was in canada i.e for the past 3 years only against the requirement of 5 years preceding the date of application. However I did send out a copy of the form via the ticket two days later. They did reject that scan stating the application was not under processing despite the fact that I provided them the UCI. I am not sure why my application was not returned. If you go through my previous posts I have mentioned the issue pertaining Section 5
