Just got off the call with CIC. Nothing productive and all bull crap. Such an unreliable service this department provides. Close to three months and these guys have zero information about my file.

Hi, below are my application details. I just received the AOR. Does the AOR mean that my papers are complete or they may send me another letter to request more documents?

Physical Presence Days: 1250
App sent: May 7
App delivered: May 9
AOR: July 18
IP Access: July 18

how are people getting ECAS In-Process on the day of AOR or the next day? I don't get it. Usually, it should take about 2 weeks, right?

I can access my ECAS on the day of AOR, but it still says application received, no in-process yet.

Congratulations! I noticed many get AOR right after calling CIC. So it worth calling them.

lmao. it's just a coincidence i would think. besides, this is the right time to get AOR anyway. you can actually do an experiment, try calling them as soon as they received your application (or even 10 days after), let's see if they will give you AOR right away just because you called.

I would not advise you to call too early. You should know that the time is varies..now it's about 75-85 days. But if it's over the average it might make sense to call. I think those guys get AOR right after the call because the CIC agent makes some official inquiry about the case that helps.
