Thanks buddy for calling in and get this updates last week. Finally we have first May AOR!
I mailed my application back in Feb of 2018... received confirmation it was received in March... got letter stating it was in final review in October that was curiously in an envelope postmarked in August? Contacted them online in April and was told “we will let you know when we let you know? It has been 15 months now. I am also a status
I have status as First Nations... and I may be on the wrong thread here as I applied for citizenship certification. ???
I have submitted my application on May 5th 2019. The only mistake I have made, I didn't use Canada post tracking !!! I sent via a normal post. Now bitting my nails how come I forgot to put the package on tracking. If anyone near my date of submission has received AOR please let me know.
I understand your concern, just don’t stress too much , I am sure your application was delivered!
I believe none of the May applicants have received their AOR yet (except the urgent processing cases)
Hey Raj... I sent my file on the 6th of May and haven't received my application number yet...Expecting it either this week or the next.
Added. Congratulations on getting your AOR.
1. Depends on how far you are from a CIC location, if they'll schedule one there or if they need to wait until they set up something temporary at or near your location, something like a satellite office (forgot what they call it). Also depends on how long background and security checks last. it could be 2+ months.
2. Same method you received the AOR. If you provided an email then it'll be via email.

Yaaay. Good start of the week. I just got my AOR 20 minutes ago. Application received on Apr 30 2019. Good luck to my April Mates and also to May Applicants.
