They never stopped processing old applications, the thing is that they are not releasing FSW-Outland COPRs at the moment. Are you FSW-Outland?

If so, you are probably in the same situation as me. My AOR is 15 May 2019 and they have replied my Webform saying that I have passed everything, my process in under final review and they are just waiting travel restrictions to be lifted to give me further instructions (COPR I guess). As they are probably not opening borders on July 1st, nobody knows how long more we will have to wait... :(

yes I am FSW-Outland. I think you’re right, they’re just waiting for travel restrictions to be eased. However, I have read in other forums that there are people receiving COPR without PPR. Is that something will happen to FSW-Outland applicants too? And I guess most of us old applicants have passed medical exams more than 1 year ago, I assume they will ask us to re-do it before issuing COPR (probably including COVID-19 tests) to us.

They recently renewed my Medicals for an extra 6 months (until October) without notifying me - I only figured out through the Webform. I don't think they will start to release COPRs for us, does not make sense... only for those who are Inland, unfortunately this will continue in my opinion

Yeah that’s probably true. What we can do now is hope the travel restrictions will be lifted soon so that we can move on to the next stage. At least we know we’ve passed everything so there shouldn’t be much to worry about I guess.

@legalfalcon
If that true ,why my application since September 2019 still the same :
  • The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirementsunder the immigration program for which you have applied,
    • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.
· The security background verification has not been initiated.

· The criminal background verification is currently valid.
My AOR 15 May 2019 , VO Ottawa , ordered GCMS notes 2 times 1st one received in JAN 2020 2nd one in April 2020 with the same status
called call center 20+ times there is no SS or even RR , I know the current situation of the Corona virus and they cannot issue the visas right now but they are not give me any reason for this delay there are many applications submitted after May 2019 they got at least the decision or they have passed every thing and waiting for COPR or the PR email but why my application in this situation I don't know

As per the response your eligibility is still under progress. Each application progresses differently. Also, with the current situation applications are not being processed at all and this will depend on the visa office your application is being processed at.

Yeah, this is really annoying and impossible to understand. But it depends on the case and the office. My VO is Mexico City and they are still (slowly) processing, I had a Ghost Update on April 2nd for example. At least you can have updates by calling them, I cannot because Mexico does not answer phone :|

On my COPR it says the destination city is REGINA(Saskatchewan) thought we would be living when we originally applied. However, when we land will be living in a different city i.e., SASKATOON(Saskatchewan), but still in the same province. Do we have to get a new CoPR? Do we need to tell CIC? Or does the destination city listed on the CoPR not make a huge deal as both the cities are in same province.

As long as you're not PNP, city of destination has no bearing on where you should live and you don't have to inform IRCC.

Any body got their PR card who got landed shortly before lockdown?? My coworker already got pr (6 month) pnp. I still waiting 6 months for just a card lol after 9 months of pr waiting is less nervous but just lol.

Has anyone received an invitation to complete a survey in regarding to the impact of COVID-19? I just received a “reminder” email today but I never received the first one at all.

An applicant is only inadmissible for "serious criminality" for offences that appear under the Canadian Criminal Code.

See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...etins-manuals/standard-requirements/tran.html
Thank you @legalfalcon for your response.

I submitted the LOE stating how the incident happened and submitted my UK pcc, (Aus PCC and Indian pcc - which are clear) but unable to obtain court documents from UK. I hope that would suffice.

Once again Thanks from everyone whom you helped in this journey. Much appreciated and God Bless you!!

Yaaa, I received it yesterday and I didn’t get it in the first batch when everyone else got it. I just got the REMINDER EMAIL like you.

Hi people
I have a question which I asked on another thread but got no response. Hope someone here will be able to help me out.
My eAOR is 22 May 2020. And I received biometrics request on 13 July 2020. However, the status of my medical exam still says “You do not need a medical exam”

Aren’t the biometrics and medical supposed to update together? Please correct me if I’m wrong

thank you!
