I got a reply from CIC on Nov 15 saying that a decision has been made on my case and the designated agent will contact me. Almost a month after and nothing... At this point I don't even know what to think...

I guess Sydney will reply you " Please be advised that your application is awaiting review of an Officer. You will be contacted in due course."

Did you ever call IRCC to ask for an update regarding your application?

As per the agent's response to me in December 2nd: The security background verification has not been initiated.The criminal background verification is in process.

I'm reading some other forums that the security check is the last stage.

I called almost every two weeks and we are just waiting for officer to pick up....this is the last/only step left

and they may not even pick up until 2020

Same i got that email from them nov 25 that a decision was made too and still nothing. VO etobicoke

Received passport request email an hour back.
My office may have been changed form Ottawa to Sydney, as the request was generated form Sydney office.

Quick question, how long does it take for the passport to get back ? As Christmas is nearing I don’t want my passport to get stuck/ lost in holiday chaos. On top of it I may wana make foreign travel towards christmas holiday week.

My visa office is Manila,Philippines. If thats your vo here is their email..manilimmigration.gc.ca

I had a ghost update on 18th November (coincidentally the date of my timeline completion).
And my background Status changed to "Processing" on the same day but no PPR mail yet!
Has anyone here ever got a Ghost update and not received a PPR Mail??

Yup i got ghost update the 02 and 25th of October still waiting
