The status on ECAS has been changed to Decision Made except for my child today, May 29th 2019.

I attended the test today, May 28th. I was asked to fill and sign the prohibition (green) form and was waiting in the reception. One officer was talking friendly and helping everyone. I entered the test area with ID card, the invitation letter and prohibition form. The administrator verified my identity and provided the computer shading sheet and a pencil with eraser. She took enough time to explain how to fill and shade the details on the computer shading (answer) sheet.

I read the "Discover Canada" book once. Also went through the websites suggested by other test takers. I took the online practise tests like twice or thrice. Before going to test, I strove hard to memorize all the timelines, people, numbers and events. The test was much lighter that I expected. I took 15 minutes to complete the test. But I could see 10 out of 50 people already finished the test before me. I scored 20 out of 20 questions.

After 5 minutes in the reception area, the officer called out my name. The officer asked for 2 ID cards, PR Card and Passport. She didn't ask for CoPR. She went through the citizenship application and asked how many times I was out of the country in last 5 years. And the same she verified with my passport. She took the prohibition form from me. It took 5 minutes overall and I was asked to sign a form. The officer said the process is over and I will receive invitation for oath in few weeks. The whole experience was pleasant.

There is no change in ECAS. It is still "ìn process". It should be changing later,

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on May 23, 2018.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on August 2, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on August 16, 2018.
  4. We sent you a notice on May 7, 2019 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 28, 2019 at 1:30 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us

Thank you all for those provided valuable advice that helped me to come this level. Also, I would like to say thanks to sunnybh who updates the sheet regularly.

Can you please anyone tell me what should i have to bring we me for citizenship test.

What’s the passing mark for that citizenship test?

You need to bring the following,
Test Invitation Letter
Two piece of ID cards
PR Card
English Test Result
Passport
Travel History

I also took CoPR, flight tickets and Work Permit copies. They are verifying your Identity, PR Card and Travel History. Do keep all the documents with you.

15 out of 20 questions is the pass mark. Read once the Discover Canada thoroughly and give tests with https://www.apnatoronto.com/canadian-citizenship-test-practice/ and http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/index.cfm

Hi friends,

I am scheduled to take the test this Tuesday, but have not received the official mail. I received an email as well as status update on ECAS. They ask on ECAS that if I have not received the official mail before my scheduled day I should call them. I plan to call them soon. But wanted to know if others have experience this as well. Thanks everyone
