Hi Guys,

Just about to hit the one year mark now and still waiting for test invite from Mississauga Office. I recently contacted my MP and they contacted IRCC. This is what IRCC told them

• The criminality verifications are currently passed & valid.
• The security verifications are currently passed & valid.
• The immigration verifications have not been initiated.

Can you please share what the third bullet means ?

It means going through application, ensuring you are eligible for citizenship, requesting CBSA records, verifying your tax filing from CRA, etc..

no, not yet. I had the same status 2 months back where verification was pending. Only after they completed the review/verification, they tagged my application for test invite.It's kind of logical as they have to review the application before interviewing the person since the review might raise some questions/concerns that they would like to clarify/verify with the applicant during the interview.The time to complete the immigration verification varies from one application to another.

Took the oath today in Scarborough. The experience was good. Although the oath letter asked to bring passports, PR, ID and landing paper but they were checking only the PR and oath invitation.
So this journey has come to an end which started way back in 2011. This forum has been extremely helpful throughout the immigration process and i want to thank and wish all the best to everyone here..

Hi friends... congrats to the new citizens, i have a very weird question.. i am doing application for my wife and she has completed the necessary days.. i just have a doubt on the application form ..question 10 part B. The question says if you have stayed in any country for more than 183 days in last 4 years .. .. our application was approved in april 2015 and she came in september 2015. Since then we have not left the country for more than 183 days.. We did submit the police clearance from india while our application was in process. Please advise if we need a police clearance or i just submit the application with an explanation and a copy of pcc we submitted that time.. a response would be highly appreciated as always
