Did my test yesterday in Scarborough and got a perfect score - I was third person to submit my test but the last person to be called in for the interview. from beginning to the end took 2 hours.
Test was supper easy, maybe because I read Discover Canada three times cover to cover and done 100s of practice tests. My observation is that the test is easy but it needs confidence. you must be confident about your knowledge. Two weeks study was completely sufficient.
The interview went well. The officer checked all my entry/exits in my physical presence against my old passport. I had A LOT of trips. At the end she said all is good, congrats, watch your email for oath invite. However, today my online status still shows as "In process"

I have a question for Toronto applicants. I am living in downtown Toronto and the only Oath locations I see is Mississauga and Scarborough. Do you know if this means that if I had my test in Scarborough I will have my Oath in Scarborough as well?

Those are the two main IRCC offices where most if not all citizenship tests/interviews will be carried out for GTA/Mississauga applicants. However, oath ceremony can either be at those offices or at offsite locations (i.e. schools, universities etc.). Mine is going to be at an offsite location so I can confirm this fact. The schedule for the offsite locations will not be displayed on the IRCC website.

It can take anywhere from one day to months depended on the background checks of each case. If the officer confirmed all is good then DM status will come soon.

After you sign the form the CIC agent gives you and they make notes on a paper about you , check your stamps etc, then your file goes back to the agent who processed your application. They then process is in the order they receive the files. It can take anywhere from 1 day to 60 days to update your status to Decision Made. If they are waiting for CBSA stamps or have asked for further information, then it may get further delayed. If the CIC agent has told you that all is fine, then within the week you status should get updated.

Still waiting for Test invite :(

In process since August 21 2018

Thank you very much Lionhearted. I spoke to CIC agent after I received the letter to see if I can finish the ceremony earlier as I have to travel to Edmonton for a course which I will now have to cancel. She suggested I do not request for a reschedule as it will be pushed to May. There are a large number of candidates that are in queue for Oath but not got oath date so far. She was reluctant to talk more but said during the end of the call (when I thanked her for the advise) that in some cities (she did not mention which), they are doing oath ceremonies in third party locations with 500-600 people talking oath together.

I am quite sure all those waiting will get the oath ceremonies in next few days as CIC picks up speed after new year holidays.

Good luck to all. I know it is painful waiting and waiting, specifically for those who have not got AOR, test dates or decision made. Have patience, it will come soon.

congratulations to you. we still have no AOR maybe one of these days

Not sure but it seems that the Eligibility Prohibition was a name match that triggered an FP request. Now that it has been completed, it all seems fine.

I am living at Etobicoke, Toronto location. Anyone know which local IRCC office my file will process for background check ???
