you are lucky got your invite test, I never heard anything from the cic. since the day I received my AOR July. NO TEST INVITE YET....is this is normal?

hi folks, anyone in the group who shares the same timeline and waiting for the test date, its strange I applied for myself and my friend he got the date and cleared his exam and I am still waiting. Please update, your expert comments would be appreciated.

Nope This is so frustrating. While other regions are getting oath invites we are still waiting for test. Looks like it will take 1 full year for us

I agree! I need to travel and book my tickets etc etc and vacate my apartment however I am just stuck becoz of the test. Toronto (GTA) is the biggest in terms of # of applicants and the slowest of all cities in the country.

CIC agents are swarmed and they are handling more than 200 applications every month. Within the next 2-4 weeks, you should get your test date. Have patience and it will happen soon.

Yes, looks like you will get your email by January. Call CIC and ask them whether your criminal, security and background checks are completed. If they say yes and everything looks good, you may be few weeks away from Oath. Also, keep checking ECAS for "change to decision made.

Another 4 weeks to get Canadian passport for which you have to apply. Fast track can be done in 4-5 days if you are ready to pay extra.

Call this number and follow the prompts for citizenship (4) and followed by zero to speak with an agent. Call early in the morning or call multiple times to get through to an agent. let us know how it goes.

Cleared test today, 19/20

Interview process was smooth . Was told to wait for the oath ceremony.

I have not actually received an email yet, but the following notice now appears on my ECAS--

"We sent you a notice on November 22, 2018 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on January 24, 2019 at 8:00 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us."

Looks like I've got two months until I'm all finished with this journey.

Add Kitchener-Waterloo to that 'bad' list as well. We have forum members waiting since February 2018 for a test invite.
