Only 23% of the May applicants have got their test notification Do not worry, we will get it soon. The agents are swarmed and as CIC agent told me every agent has their own speed. They try to finalize an application within 6 months of start of processing. Secondly, the agents are not sitting free, they are clearing previous backlogs.

I'm there too with you guys. I heard Calgary sometimes give test and Oath together. I hope it comes like that.

By the way I forgot to highlight couple of things that the agents told me (I spoke to 4 agents over 2 weeks)

a) When update shows all clear on the background check, criminal check and vulnerability check and you have not received any residency questionnaire, it does not mean that the agent is sitting on the file. It means that they have not yet come around to reviewing it the final time before test step is generated.

b) After test step is generated, a final review is done by another agent and test email is sent out.

c) If we speak with an agent and they tell us that us all is clear it does not mean that someone is sitting on our application. It means that they are doing or have not yet done the final review

One of my friend had his test and oath ceremony on the same date but he lives in Saskatoon

Sometimes they will send you for the Oath after the test but will not tell you before. The agent will check the notes and then take a decision on the spot.

Mississauga seems to be slowest one, not even one from May applicants from Mississauga have received the invite so far

Checked ECAS this morning, another line got added. Not sure when it appeared as I haven't checked it since I got the test email. Regardless, here it goes::

4. We sent you a notice on October 26, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on November 22, 2018 at 8:01 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

No need. My filters are set perfectly. And I did get the test email.
I'm saying that ECAS was not updated the day I got the test email. It has been updated either the next day or yesterday, as it's been 2 days since the email.

Im from Toronto too and my application went in process august 9th. Got to talk to a nice agent and he told me that I have cleared the background checks two 2 months ago and they had sent my file to mississauga and that I am waiting to hear from the Mississauga test centre for a test date. I'm glad to get an update atleast I know that my background check is done! just waiting for a test date now.
