Updated, thanksHello everyone! I got my test invite yesterday!
November 30th in Edmonton!
My worry is that I need to go out of country for two months (Dec & Jan). Should I call and ask to push my test date?Im from Toronto too and my application went in process august 9th. Got to talk to a nice agent and he told me that I have cleared the background checks two 2 months ago and they had sent my file to mississauga and that I am waiting to hear from the Mississauga test centre for a test date. I'm glad to get an update atleast I know that my background check is done! just waiting for a test date now.
I am travelling for 2 weeks so called CIC and they made an entry in the file so that test date is not given for the specific date. You can do the same.My worry is that I need to go out of country for two months (Dec & Jan). Should I call and ask to push my test date?
Thanks a lot, Jangotrick. I will do the same. Which number did you tried?I am travelling for 2 weeks so called CIC and they made an entry in the file so that test date is not given for the specific date. You can do the same.
Call 1-888-242-2100 ....wait for the initial message then press 4 and then zero. If you do not get connected, disconnect and repeat a couple of times. they will connect you. Thanks a lot, Jangotrick. I will do the same. Which number did you tried?
100% agree with you! It's unbelievable that a country like Canada can be soooo slow. They just take their own sweet time. What in the world is happening with Toronto applicants. Its a struggle since i ever started my immigration journey from Toronto. Always the last. With more applicants, more fees, more revenue, more taxes we would expect more resources (test centers) to support higher volume. I get it for the centralized processes which require fair allocation across Canada. But for a Toronto specific test..... Its like standing in an economy class queue with same number of check in counters as that for the business class but with the same ticket price....
Congrats and smooth sailing hereon. Do let us know when your ECAS gets updated and what date it showed for the test update versus the actual date the test was sent.Hello everyone! I am glad to say that I finally got the good news and got my test Invite today.
