if Scarborough office has backlog.... how are they giving test & oath for June2018, July2018, Aug2018, applicants?

Got the notice to take the oath today! I can update that my spouse and I both passed the citizenship test on March 13, we were approved at end of same-day interview, and told we'd be contacted about a date for the oath. Notification came today, 4/24/2019, for oath in Mississauga, Ontario (100 miles from our home, sigh) on 5/10/2019. Sadly, it's the only day of the coming months that I have to be in Montreal, so I must write them to ask for a new date. I hope the next one is not also a conflict. I wish they'd let us apply for a range of days or a range of weeks! AH, well.

My colleage who went to the oath said he asked 3 people sitting next to him and they said they applied in July, and Aug 2018.

Did the world forget about us???????? How could July, Aug applicants got oath, while we still waiting

Got the final part to our citizenship as a family of 3 ,all got our Canadian passports in the mail today ,wish all those from May applicants a speedy end to your process ,seems especially those in Mississauga and Scarborough are being left by the wayside ,hope you all hear something positive very soon

I just knew someone applied in Nov 2018 and got oath invite in Scarborough.

how is it helping the applicants? Those who weren't transfered to Mississuga already got oath, and those who applied after us already got oath too in both Mississuga and Scarborough. I don't see any reason for such transfer, besides slowing us down. It is not a first come first serve system, it is a luck based process

They have to undergo audit and need to clear their backlog. They move files to balance workload and help applicants by trying their best to process applications faster.

"balance workload"? Sure. thats why those who applied after us got oath, to "balance" it, just like "budget will balance itself" kind of thing

Each case is different and may take different amount of time. Don't be impatient, trust Canada, Canadian system and fellow Canadians otherwise I will advise to retract your application and apply else where if you think nothing is meaningful in Canada

Look at how negative you are, I said there is no meaning audit in CIC processing cases, and you suddenly jump into ur ADVISE to retract my application. Can't believe how evil you are.
If there is meaning audit in CIC, they wouldn't move cases around without reasons, and those who did test the same day as mine already got oath, so do those who applied in jun/jul/Aug/sep 2018.

Finally they found my long lost file lol. Just got aoth ceremony email. Its on 15th of may at mississuaga office. I gave test in scarborough office on 25th of jan and DM on 26th of jan
