Permanent Residence Application status changed to "In Process" today (July 25, 2017)
I think @sp121212 and @Meghana.Karthik will also have the update today.
Finally , I got my file back after 2 and half months. Reason mentioned
Not including NOA and employment letter.
Employment letter was right there.Regarding NOA I sent pay stubs for 2016 , papers from my accountant telling I filed tax return and reason for not sending it ( very clearly mentioned).
It clearly says now, that my application will be a new application whenever i am going to make it. So it means i shall be following new instructions.(15 July ones)
I have a question to ask to all who got AOR's for june or july
In checklist page 2 point 9 - use of Representative
In it they say if sposor is contacting us on PA behalf it is mandatory to fill out form 5476.
(Else file will be sent back).
In it there is no option to select spouse as representative . Wht to do ? Should i select option "OTHERS"

Called CIC . To agent give your spouse(P.A.) details only. They have every data now on P.A. names only. ( Reference point 9 page 2 of new checklist)

In country specific guidelines if birth is registered late then they ask for original documents like for my case being Indian(my spouse)

2) voter ID card.
What does that certified true copy or original means - original document as such.

We got our request for our police check yesterday (July 24th), but we already had our background check in progress since the beginning of July. Hopefully this means good news.
Hi all! Our application was sent in and:
- Police certificates and Schedule A uploaded (june 7)
- sponsorship approved (June 12)
Since then it has been radio silence. Should we be concerned?

I have almost the same timeline and also nothing since SA on June 12. Looking at the May spreadsheet it doesn't look like any of the US PA have had anything beyond SA. I'm not concerned. I think they are backlogged, and it sounds like Mississauga may be doing some of the screening for Ottawa.

Little confused because they had requested additional documents (birth certificate) on Friday and we uploaded it today morning around 8 but ecas had already changed to in process by then (so before us uploading it).. is this normal?
I called Mississauga and an agent/officer told us to provide only the details that's missing and update the forms..on our case outdated form is the checklist and need to add representative form..we hope this will work..
