One reason if that, if that's true interpretation, Trudeau would be advertising all over his Twitter/Facebook/Instagram that he reduced the spousal sponsorship processing to 3 months and not 12 months LOL

No guideline shows 12months and they have beem bragging abiut changes they've made to reduce to 12months!

I personally think the changes have reduced the time way less that 12mknths but they dont want to advertise that to be held accountable upon times when they have backlog.

6 or 12 months either way Im happy better than the 24months previously listed for KVO Im happy

On the letter it states if received by emsil no mail will be sent

I dont think my BGC should take too long, My husband lived in the same house since he was born and only went to 1 school and has the same job since graduating school 15yrs ago and never left the country nor ever had any charges so there's not much to check I would think.

what else could they possibly be checking for?

Just for an update...

I received a letter via post mail (which took almost a month to arrive) a request for schedule A and police certificate.. ( I was waiting for Aor 1 but I haven't received) I got the request 2 days ago July 12, exactly 2 months since they received my application.. On the same day, my husband received a mail on sponsohip approval... I only had 3 working days to work on my documents as they wanted it in their office by July 17, 2017...

Now I can't link my account, I already tried 50 times I guess but no luck, so I just have it scanned (with my signature on it) and send it to my husband so he can just print it out and send it from there.. I hope it would be OK....

Until now, I still haven't able to link my account, I already had few gckey accounts and all are blocked now for failed attempts..
